First android based application developed - FocusLah!

Project Overview

FocusLah! is a centralized mobile application designed to bridge the gap between task management and mental well-being by integrating goal-tracking, a Pomodoro-style focus timer, and daily inspiration to help students and professionals organize their workflows without the digital fatigue of switching between multiple apps.

Design Process

The design prioritizes cognitive ease through a minimalist, monochromatic blue aesthetic and a clear visual hierarchy, utilizing rounded card components and circular progress gauges to provide instant feedback while maintaining a calm, approachable user experience.

Technical Execution

The project was executed using a component-based architecture and a clean typography system to ensure a consistent, scalable UI that supports real-time state changes for task progress, while I utilized Cursor and Android Studio to iteratively edit, debug, and run the code to ensure seamless performance.
